Woman killed in domestic dispute

KATHMANDU: In Belaka Municipality, Udaypur, a domestic quarrel turned tragic when a woman lost her life. Khagendra Rai allegedly stabbed his wife, Ganga Rai, in Belaka-3, Kirant Chowk.

Ganga succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

Khagendra reportedly attempted to harm himself following the incident.

Locals intervened, and he was taken to Dharan for medical care. He remains under police supervision.
