Italy needs 166 runs to beat West Indies

KATHMANDU: West Indies, already through to the Super 8 of the ICC T20 World Cup, posted 165/6 in 20 overs against Italy at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Captain Shai Hope starred with a brisk 76 off 46 balls, hitting 6 fours and 4 sixes.

Roston Chase and Sherfane Rutherford contributed 24 runs each, while Matthew Forde remained unbeaten on 16.

Bowling for Italy, Ben Manenti and Krishna Kalugamage claimed two wickets apiece, with Ali Khan and Thomas Darke taking one each.

Italy is now chasing 166 to stay alive in the Super 8 clash.
