KATHMANDU: A collective art exhibition titled “Undaunted Voices” has been organized in support of the Gen Z youth movement and freedom of expression that emerged on Bhadra 23.

The exhibition is being held on the sidewalk in front of the International Convention Centre (Parliament Building).

It showcases a wide range of artworks dedicated to the memory of young people who lost their lives during the movement, along with creative expressions demanding good governance and defending freedom of speech.

The Gen Z youth movement, which began on Bhadra 23 and 24 (Sept 8 & 9) against corruption and systemic misgovernance, triggered a major political shift in the country.

The protests resulted in the loss of dozens of young lives and left hundreds injured, ultimately forcing a change in the then government.

Through this exhibition, artists aim to give life to the silenced voices of young people by using art as a powerful medium of expression.

The display features paintings, sculptures, and other creative works that reflect the spirit, pain, and determination of the movement.

Organizers hope the exhibition will help preserve the emotional legacy of the protests and spread a positive message in society—reminding the public of the sacrifices made and the continuing importance of accountability, justice, and free expression.
