UML’s decides to contest all 19 seats in the NA election

This decision was made at the party’s central headquarters Chyasal, according to General Secretary Shankar Pokharel.
Announcing the decision of the meeting, he said – ‘Names of three people were asked for in each cluster. There was a preliminary discussion about the recommended names,’ he said, ‘We have prepared to announce the names of all 19 candidates on the Poush 23 (Jan 8) after discussing whether they should be included in the cluster or not.’
The deadline for registering for the National Assembly member election on Magh 11 (Jan 25) has been set for Poush 23 (Jan 8).
After the terms of 20 members of the 59-member National Assembly end on Falgun 20 (March 3), elections will be conducted.
