UML recommends Milan Gurung as candidate from Gorkha-2

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has recommended Milan Gurung, also known as “Chakre Milan,” as its candidate for the House of Representatives election from Gorkha Constituency No. 2.

Speaking after the recommendation, he said the decision was driven not by personal ambition but by continuous demand and pressure from the local community and the younger generation.
He has been active in the CPN-UML since 2050 BS and is also involved in various social initiatives.
Party leaders say his long-standing involvement in politics and social work played a key role in his selection.
The recommendation has drawn public attention, reflecting shifting political dynamics and growing youth influence in candidate selection.
