KATHMANDU: Kirtipur’s Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground is fully prepared to host the upcoming night-time T20 International series between Nepal and the United Arab Emirates, set to begin on Monday.

The opening match of the series will be played on Monday evening at 7:00 PM between Nepal and UAE, marking another major step in Nepal’s growing experience with floodlight cricket.

According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), all necessary preparations for the series have been completed. The association confirmed that a successful floodlight test was conducted at the stadium on Saturday evening, ensuring readiness for night matches.

Since this is a night series, the floodlight system was given special attention during the final phase of preparation. Officials stated that the successful test signals smooth operations for the upcoming matches.

Fans will be able to purchase tickets through the mobile app Khalti, making access to the matches easier and more convenient.

The series is expected to provide Nepali cricket supporters with a new and exciting experience of watching international cricket under lights at home.
