KATHMANDU: The commission investigating the events of Bhadra 23-24 has lifted the travel restrictions imposed on former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, which had prevented him from leaving Kathmandu Valley and traveling abroad.
The commission had previously barred Oli from going abroad and leaving the Valley without its approval, in connection with his actions as Prime Minister during the Gen Z movement incident.
According to the commission, since the inquiry and questioning regarding Oli’s conduct during the incident have been completed, there is no longer any justification for restricting his travel.
Consequently, the ban has been officially revoked.
