KATHMANDU: The road section is the first portion of the ring road development, and it is positioned in the midst of Kathmandu’s open and picturesque route. The road is worth taking a look at.

This road stretch, which was upgraded to 8 lanes by the Chinese government and handed over in 2075, is 10.39 kilometers long.
Many flaws were discovered even after it was finished, but this first segment lies in the middle of Nepal’s model road.

The texture and design of the road make it appear to be a foreign road. Throughout the year, the contour of this road stretch changes according to the season. The road is not only broad but also sturdy. In regions where the ground can float, gravel is filled with soil up to 15 feet deep.

Because the road has eight lanes, numerous flora have been planted alongside it. They vary their appearance according to the season every June 4.

With the new year, the road is now adorned with jacaranda flowers. The roadways are greener now that the monsoon season has finished. The plants along the road from Koteshwor to the Balkhu bridge green up the circular path.

The eyes of individuals who stomp on the road will travel across the road from ordinary people walking on the sidewalk. Spacious, elegant, and lovely! It appears to be as good as any developed country.

These scenes may appear to be from somewhere other than our country, but they are not. These are photos of Koteshwor-Kalanki, the initial stretch of the ring road.

Ncell Axiata Limited is also developing vegetation on this road segment as part of its corporate social responsibility, in partnership with the Forest and Land Conservation Department.

The second phase of the ring road expansion has also been started since Falgun last year, but it has yet to gain traction.
