KATHMANDU: The play ‘Khamari, Silent Dialogue’ has begun its run at the Mandala Theatre in Thapagaun.
The production, presented by Ek Theatre Nepal, officially opened on 19th Bhadra and is scheduled to run until 29th Bhadra.
The play delves into the critical environmental issues we face, conveying the idea that we are not separate from nature, but an integral part of it.
The narrative portrays how human negligence and pollution are causing the land to become sick, while plants struggle to grow, silently warning us of the grave dangers that lie ahead for our future.
Through this dramatic presentation, ‘Khamari, Silent Dialogue’ emphasizes the urgent need for environmental awareness and action.
The play has been conceptualized and directed by Mani K. Rai, with Jayaram Dhakal as the producer and Hatesip as the co-producer.
The stellar cast includes actors such as Soujan Senahang, Priya Lamjel, Arushi Rai, Muskan Raut, Prem Chandra Pandey, Yugal Shrestha, Sonia Rai, Dilendra Rai, Debika Rai, Mamata Sampang Rai, Shakti Rai, Renuka Gharti Magar, and Ranjana Nepali, who bring life to the thought-provoking narrative.
The play will be performed daily at 4:30 PM, with an additional matinee show at 12:30 PM on Saturdays, running through Bhadra 29.
