Tarun Dal’s 5th National Convention set for Mangsir 26–28
The convention comes after a prolonged delay, during which the Congress had formed a directive committee to manage the organization’s affairs.
KATHMANDU: The youth wing of the Nepali Congress, Nepal Tarun Dal, is set to hold its 5th National Convention from Mangsir 26 to 28, according to a statement by Tarun Dal President Bidhwan Gurung.
The convention comes after a prolonged delay, during which the Congress had formed a directive committee to manage the organization’s affairs.
According to the schedule, the Tarun Dal will complete full membership distribution and local-level conventions by Bhadra and approve the memberships at the central office by the end of the month.
Regional and district convention representatives will also be confirmed within this period.
Further, provincial and federal constituency-level conventions will be held by Kartik 20, followed by district conventions by the end of Kartik.
All seven provinces are expected to complete their provincial conventions by Mangsir 10, leading up to the national convention from Mangsir 26 to 28.
President Gurung emphasized that the structured schedule will ensure smooth and organized elections within the youth wing ahead of the national gathering.
