T20I series opener: Nepal opt to bat first against UAE

KATHMANDU:Nepal have elected to bat first against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the opening match of their T20 International series at the Tribhuvan University (TU) Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

The match, which began at 5:00 PM local time, saw Nepal captain Dipendra Singh Airee win the toss and choose to set a target for the visitors.

Both sides are looking to gain early momentum in the series as they face off in the first of the T20I fixtures.
