KATHMANDU: SuryaJyoti Life Insurance recently organized a comprehensive training program for its branch operations staff from across the country, focusing on “Service Excellence and Compliance.”
The event took place at Lords CBC Plaza, Bharatpur, Chitwan, with the participation of 200 branch operations staff, departmental heads, executives, deputy chief officers, the Chief Executive Officer, and board members.
The training was led by Manoj Bhattarai, a renowned banking and insurance expert, and Padam Prasad Sodari, Deputy Director of the Nepal Insurance Authority.
Mr. Sodari provided detailed sessions on AML/CFT (Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism), while Mr. Bhattarai guided participants on Service Excellence practices.
The program also featured panel discussions with departmental heads, covering key operational topics and challenges faced by branch staff.
Participants raised questions based on their daily work experiences, which were addressed directly by senior management. Chief Support Services Umesh Prasad Mainali moderated the sessions, ensuring smooth and effective facilitation.
CEO Prakash Bikram Khatri highlighted the importance of branch staff, stating, “Employees working day and night at our branch offices are the true Service Ambassadors of SuryaJyoti Life. Their dedication directly strengthens the company’s brand value and drives business growth.”
