KATHMANDU: Siddhartha Bank Limited successfully concluded a series of programs from March 16 to 22, 2026, in celebration of Global Money Week 2026, aimed at promoting financial awareness and empowerment among students.

Under this year’s theme, “Smart Money Talks”, the bank conducted financial literacy initiatives at 38 schools and campuses across all seven provinces, reaching a total of 2,171 students.

The programs focused on educating students about banking services, digital transactions, and essential financial precautions, while enhancing their knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors related to money management.

To provide practical exposure, 478 students also visited various bank branches, learning hands-on about basic banking operations and different banking channels.

In total, Siddhartha Bank organized 51 programs, directly benefiting 2,649 students with comprehensive financial education.

In addition to on-ground initiatives, the bank actively published daily educational content on social media throughout the week, reinforcing financial literacy and awareness among the wider public.

Siddhartha Bank highlighted that these efforts contributed positively toward achieving the core objectives of Global Money Week 2026—enhancing financial knowledge and enabling inclusive access to financial services for all communities across Nepal.
