Shakti Basnet is on the list to become a minister again

KATHMANDU: In the government led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, 3 ministers from CPN Maoist Centre will continue.

According to sources at the Maoist Centre, senior vice chair Narayan Kaji Shrestha, as well as leaders Shakti Bahadur Basnet and Rekha Sharma, would continue to serve as ministers in the Congress-Maoist coalition.

Shrestha will serve as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, with Barsaman Pun as Finance Minister.

The ministries of Shakti Bahadur Basnet and Rekha Sharma have not finished.

Although Hit Bahadur Tamang took the oath of office at the Maoist center, the ministry has not yet been established.

According to Maoist sources, Sudan Kirati, a former minister, would not repeat himself.
