SC rectifies error in Lamichhane case order

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court has corrected an error in the written order related to Rabi Lamichhane’s case.

Last Friday, the Supreme Court upheld the High Court’s decision to send Lamichhane to judicial custody for further investigation.

However, when the written document of the ruling—issued by Justices Bal Krishna Dhakal and Nakul Subedi—was made public, it mistakenly mentioned the word “verdict” instead of “order.”

To rectify the mistake, a fresh hearing was scheduled for Sunday. Today, the court officially corrected the error in the document, clarifying that it was indeed an “order” and not a “verdict.”
