SC dismisses writ against Gen Z probe commission

KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a writ petition filed against the government-formed Investigation Commission tasked with probing the Gen Z incident.

The petition had sought the removal of former Justice Gauri Bahadur Karki and other members from their positions as chair and members of the commission.

Rejecting the petition, the apex court issued a directive order stating that there is no legal ground to remove the commission’s chair and members, thereby allowing the investigation panel to continue its work.
