Sanima Bank appoints Pawan Kumar Acharya as CEO
Acharya, a permanent resident of Lalitpur, has been associated with Sanima Bank since its establishment in 2060 BS, bringing over 21 years of experience in the banking sector.
KATHMANDU: Sanima Bank has appointed Pawan Kumar Acharya as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from Jan 26, following the decision of the bank’s Board of Directors in the meeting held on Nov 10.
Acharya, a permanent resident of Lalitpur, has been associated with Sanima Bank since its establishment in 2060 BS, bringing over 21 years of experience in the banking sector.
Prior to his promotion, he served as the Deputy CEO of the bank.
Throughout his career, Acharya has led ten different departments within the bank, gaining extensive expertise in credit assessment, digitalization, and project investment.
He also serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Sanima Capital, a subsidiary of Sanima Bank.
In addition, Acharya has professional experience as a Production Engineer for four years and as a Visiting Faculty for five years.
He holds a Master’s degree from Pittsburgh State University, USA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Notably, he achieved third place nationwide in the SLC examination from Adarsha Vidya Mandir High School.
The bank expressed confidence that under Acharya’s leadership, Sanima Bank will continue to achieve new heights of success.
