KATHMANDU: Chief Minister Parshuram Khapung appointed Advocate Rupesh Koirala as Chief Advocate of the State on Sunday, based on the proposal of Koshi Chief Minister Kedar Karki.

Koirala, a Biratnagar-9 inhabitant, was president of the Morang Association of Democratic Legal Practitioners.
