RT Nepal marks founding day with blood donation drive

KATHMANDU: Embracing the motto “Freedom Through Service”, Round Table Nepal (RTN) organized a large-scale blood donation program in Biratnagar to mark its founding day.
The event, held with a strong commitment to social service and humanitarian work, successfully collected 42 pints of blood.
The program was jointly organized by Biratnagar Central Round Table 15, 41 Club 4 Biratnagar, and Tangents Club 1 Biratnagar, and took place at Jayahind PU Tech in Biratnagar.
According to the organizers, the event aimed to address the growing shortage of blood in hospitals and raise awareness about the importance of regular blood donation.
Round Table Nepal has been actively engaged in social initiatives across the country, especially in the fields of education and healthcare. The organization has previously undertaken projects such as school building construction, health camps, and distribution of medical supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of this ongoing social journey, the blood donation drive was conducted to make a meaningful impact.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from club members, volunteers, and local residents.
Participants expressed their belief that such initiatives can help save lives and inspire more people to contribute to this noble cause.
