RSP sets up ‘Solidarity Desks’ backing Rabi Lamichhane

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has launched a signature campaign in support of its president, Rabi Lamichhane, who is currently in judicial custody over a cooperative fraud case.

On Friday, party leaders inaugurated the campaign by setting up a “Solidarity Desk” at Kalanki, Kathmandu.

According to RSP, a total of 14 such desks have been set up across the capital.

The party claims that the government is taking political revenge against Lamichhane and has urged the public to show their support by signing the petition.

Lamichhane is being held in connection with the Butwal-based Supreme Cooperative fraud and an organized crime case, following a remand order from the High Court Tulsipur, Butwal bench.
