Cooperative Amendment Ordinance 2083 endorsed by HoR

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has unanimously approved the Cooperative (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2083.

During Friday’s House meeting, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration Pratibha Rawal presented the proposal seeking endorsement of the ordinance, which was subsequently passed unanimously by the lower house.

Prior to the approval, a proposal tabled by Aryan Rai, a lawmaker from the Labour Culture Party, seeking to reject the ordinance was voted down by the House.

The House also endorsed the Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Related to Health Science Academies, 2083.

The next meeting of the House of Representatives has been scheduled for 11:00 am on Thursday, Asar 11.
