KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) continued their obstruction of the House of Representatives on Friday, demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak and the formation of a high-level investigation committee over the controversial visit visa case.

As Speaker Devraj Ghimire attempted to move forward with the day’s agenda, lawmakers from both parties stood up in protest.

RSP lawmakers also wore blue ribbons as a symbolic gesture of dissent.

The protest persisted despite the scheduled question-answer session with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli being on the agenda for today’s meeting.
