RSP holds first central meeting since Lamichhane’s return

KATHMANDU: The central secretariat of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) convened at its headquarters in Banasthali today.

The meeting focused primarily on the party’s internal adjustment process and preparations for the upcoming elections.

Sources said the agenda gained importance as the party has recently seen an influx of new members and groups, making the management of the integration process a key issue.

Discussions are also expected to cover candidate selection and other preparations ahead of the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 (March 5).

This marks the first central secretariat meeting since party President Rabi Lamichhane returned to active duties after stepping aside amid a cooperative fraud case.
