KATHMANDU: The Central Committee of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to amend the party statute to implement previous agreements made with various factions during party unification and expansion.
The amendment introduces new leadership positions, including one Vice President, one General Secretary, one Deputy General Secretary, and one Deputy Spokesperson.
The move aims to better accommodate new groups and individuals while strengthening the party’s organizational structure.
The meeting also appointed seven new Central Committee members.
Following President Rabi Lamichhane’s return, the party has prioritized internal restructuring and election preparedness.
