RSP convention concluded in four provinces and 64 districts

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has reported significant progress in its nationwide organizational expansion, stating that internal conventions have been completed in four provinces and 64 districts so far.

Provincial-level conventions have been completed in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
However, the convention in Madhesh Province has been postponed, while processes in Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are currently ongoing, the party said.
The party also informed that conventions could not be held in several remote districts, including Dolpa and Humla in Karnali Province, Rukum East in Lumbini, Manang and Mustang in Gandaki, and Dhanusha, Saptari, Bara, and Sarlahi in Madhesh Province.
Additionally, convention processes initiated in Sindhupalchok, Siraha, Mahottari, and Rautahat have been temporarily halted, according to General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti.
The RSP has also intensified preparations for its first national general convention, scheduled to be held in Chitwan on June 21, 22, and 23, which the party describes as a key milestone in its organizational development.
