RSP complains of being ignored by PM on their demands
The RSP has been consistently raising concerns over the ongoing 'visit visa' scandal, which they say is linked to organized human trafficking.
KATHMANDU: Lawmakers from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) boycotted Friday’s House of Representatives meeting, claiming they were denied the opportunity to present their concerns to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Acting spokesperson Manish Jha said the party walked out after the Prime Minister left the meeting without listening to their issues. “We wanted to express our concerns directly to the Prime Minister. But he exited the meeting without hearing us, so we also chose to walk out,” Jha stated.

As a symbolic protest, all RSP lawmakers attended the meeting dressed in black with blue ribbons pinned to their attire.
The blue ribbon is a globally recognized symbol against human trafficking.
