KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) organized a symbolic march on Monday, walking from Maitidevi Temple to the revered Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu.

Speaking during the march, RPP lawmaker Deepak Bahadur Singh said the party undertook the walk for the greater good of the people and the country.

He acknowledged that the party faces some internal challenges but emphasized that all members are committed to changing the current political system and conditions. “No one will be distracted from our mission,” he added.

Singh strongly criticized current political leaders, accusing them of rampant corruption and exploitation.

He argued that the current republican system was not brought by the people and lacks legitimacy.

He also announced that RPP will launch a decisive movement after the ongoing agricultural planting season is over. “We are preparing for a major struggle to liberate the people and hold corrupt individuals accountable,” Singh stated.
