KATHMANDU: Cristiano Ronaldo proved once again that age is just a number as he delivered a stellar performance in Al-Nassr’s first pre-season friendly, scoring a brilliant goal to help his side secure a 2–1 win over French club Toulouse.

Toulouse took the early lead in the 25th minute through a goal by Gboho, but the Saudi club bounced back quickly.

In the 33rd minute, Ronaldo converted a precise assist from teammate Wesley, leveling the score with a signature finish.

Later in the second half, substitute Mohammed Maran netted the winning goal with just 13 minutes remaining, sealing the victory for Al-Nassr.

After the match, the 40-year-old Portuguese legend shared a message on social media, expressing his enduring passion for the game. “The hunger never fades. There’s still work to be done — we’re just getting started,” Ronaldo wrote.

Ronaldo, who played alongside stars like Sadio Mane, Joao Felix, and Gabriel during the match, continues to defy expectations with his relentless work ethic and commitment to football.

Despite scoring 25 goals and providing 3 assists last season, Al-Nassr fell short of winning the league title.

This season, Ronaldo is more determined than ever — aiming not just to score more goals, but also to guide his team to championship glory.
