Rohit Adhikari files complaint against Santosh Sen
Adhikari said he was compelled to seek legal action after his movie was targeted with damaging negative comments on social media allegedly linked to Balidan.
KATHMANDU: Film producer Rohit Adhikari, the maker of Maitighar, has filed a complaint against Balidan producer-director Santosh Sen at the Cyber Bureau in Bhotahiti.
Both films are slated for release on the day of Phulpati during the upcoming Dashain festival.
Adhikari said he was compelled to seek legal action after his movie was targeted with damaging negative comments on social media allegedly linked to Balidan.
“The cyber trolls have been constantly attacking us with abusive remarks. That’s why I filed a complaint under the category of online harassment,” Adhikari stated.
He confirmed that his complaint has been registered under case number 2568.
This Dashain, three Nepali films—Maitighar, Balidan, and Hari Bahadurko Jutta—are set to hit the theaters simultaneously.
