Registration of Savings and Credit Cooperatives to close from March 31
Such institutions can finalize their entries by April 30.
KATHMANDU: The National Cooperative Regulation Authority (NCRA) has announced that the registration process for cooperatives primarily engaged in savings and credit operations will close from March 31.
According to the authority, the registration procedure, which began on Nov 26 under the “Registration Standards for Cooperatives Engaged in Savings and Credit, 2082”, will only remain open until March 31.
All concerned cooperatives are required to submit the prescribed fees through bank vouchers and complete the entry of necessary details into the online system within the stipulated timeframe.
However, for cooperatives that have paid the fees on time but are unable to complete all data entries due to technical or other issues, the NCRA has allowed an extended period.
Such institutions can finalize their entries by April 30.
