Chasing a target of 175 runs set by KKR, RCB achieved the target in just 16.2 overs, losing 3 wickets. Virat Kohli played a key role in the win, remaining unbeaten with 59 runs.
Philip Salt contributed 56 runs, and captain Rajat Patidar added 34 runs to help RCB cross the finish line. Earlier, after losing the toss and being put in to bat first, KKR managed to score 174 runs in 20 overs, losing 8 wickets.
For KKR, captain Ajinkya Rahane top-scored with 56 runs, while Sunil Narine made 44 runs. Ankush Raghubanshi also chipped in with 30 runs.
RCB’s bowling attack was led by Krunal Pandya, who claimed 3 wickets for 29 runs in his 4-over spell, while Josh Hazlewood took 2 wickets.
Krunal Pandya was named Player of the Match for his brilliant performance with the ball, helping RCB to start the season with a well-deserved win.
