Rabi Lamichhane to lead election campaign in Jhapa & Itahari today

KATHMANDU: President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, is heading to Jhapa today to campaign for the party’s candidates, according to his secretariat.

As per the official schedule released by the secretariat, Lamichhane will arrive at Chandragadhi Airport at 8:00 AM on Tuesday and proceed directly to campaign events.

He is scheduled to reach Kakarbhitta at 8:45 AM, followed by Dhulabari Road at 9:00 AM, Birtamode at 9:30 AM, and Surunga Chowk at 10:20 AM. The final event in Jhapa will take place in Damak at 11:00 AM.

After completing door-to-door campaigns and corner meetings across various locations in Jhapa, Lamichhane and Shah will travel to Itahari in Sunsari district later today.

The RSP has organized a large election rally in Itahari, where both leaders are scheduled to address the gathering.

Lamichhane himself is contesting the election for the third time from Chitwan Constituency No. 2.

While intensifying his campaign in his own constituency, he has also been touring different parts of the country to support RSP candidates.
