KATHMANDU: Angry protesters set fire to the Kirtipur Municipality building in Kathmandu on Tuesday, escalating the ongoing unrest across the country.

The demonstrations, sparked by the deaths of 19 Gen Z activists, have spread throughout the Kathmandu Valley and beyond.

Protesters have targeted government properties and the residences of political leaders, engaging in vandalism and arson to express their outrage.
