Muslim Commission presents report to President Paudel

KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel on Thursday received the annual report of the Muslim Commission for the fiscal year 2081/082 at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas.

The report was presented by Acting Chairperson Mahmadin Ali.

Speaking at the event, President Paudel emphasized that Nepal, being a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious, and multicultural nation, must respect all communities.

“Respecting cultural diversity while promoting social harmony, unity, and cooperation is essential for progress based on equality and coexistence,” President Paudel said. “The state’s policies on social and cultural transformation ensure the protection and development of the languages, scripts, cultures, literature, arts, and heritage of all communities. These provisions must be upheld by everyone.”

He also highlighted the significant responsibilities of the Muslim Commission and expressed confidence that the commission will fulfill its duties even more effectively in the future.
