New coalition’s 3 ministers sworn in at Sheetal Niwas

KATHMANDU: Three ministers on Monday from the newly formed government coalition swore an oath of office and secrecy at the President’s Office in Sheetal Niwas.

Padam Giri representing CPN-UML, Hit Bahadur Tamang from CPN-Maoist Centre, and Dol Prasad Aryal of Rastriya Swatantra Party took their oaths of office and secrecy on Monday evening at the President’s Office in Sheetal Niwas.

President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath to the newly appointed ministers during the ceremony.

These ministers, now assuming their roles without portfolios, notably include Padam Giri, previously serving as Minister of Health and Population, and Aryal, who held the position of Minister of Labor and Employment under the UML’s representation.

The swearing-in event was attended by Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire, along with dignitaries from various constitutional bodies, diplomatic missions, and senior government officials.
