KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), has accused Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of ruining the country with “empty rhetoric.”

Speaking to journalists outside the Parliament, he claimed that the Prime Minister indulges in lofty speeches disconnected from reality.

Prachanda cited his inspection of the cricket stadium construction at Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur, saying the facts on the ground align with what he had stated in Parliament. He added, “One can say anything while giving speeches, but the reality on the ground is known to everyone. By leaving the ground reality behind and engaging in lofty rhetoric, the country has suffered. The PM has made an issue of something I said about TU, which is wrong.”
