Police bust gang, recover 11 stolen motorcycles

KATHMANDU: Dhanusha police have arrested a 12-member organized gang involved in stealing motorcycles from various parts of the district and illegally trading them.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ganesh Bahadur Bam of the Dhanusha District Police Office stated that the crackdown followed a recent surge in motorcycle thefts across the district.
Investigation revealed that the gang targeted public areas, markets, hospitals, and residential neighborhoods, altering license plates and selling the stolen bikes at low prices.
The arrested individuals are now under further investigation for theft and organized crime-related charges, the police confirmed.
