PM Prachanda to contest upcoming election from Rukum East

KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party Coordinator and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will contest the upcoming House of Representatives election from Rukum East.

This decision comes in response to requests from party leaders and workers in the region.

Previously, Prachanda has contested elections from constituencies such as Chitwan and Gorkha.

Rukum East is considered a key stronghold of the Maoist movement.
