KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli stated that people are free to openly criticize and even insult him when angry.

Speaking at a recent event, he said, “People have the freedom to criticize angrily. Let them do so. Even if they repeatedly insult me using every word in the dictionary, what difference does it make?”

Oli further expressed confidence in his words, comparing their authenticity to Nepal Rastra Bank’s currency notes. “Just like Nepal Rastra Bank guarantees the value of its notes and can pay on demand, I am ready to pay immediately if anyone proves my statements wrong,” he added.
