KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to provide a response in Parliament on Monday regarding the removal of Kulman Ghising from his position as the Executive Director of the Electricity Authority.

A telephone conversation took place on Sunday between Prime Minister Oli and the leader of the opposition party, CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda).
According to the Chief Whip of the CPN-UML, Mahesh Kumar Bartaula, this discussion was held as part of ongoing consultations.
The agreement for Prime Minister Oli’s response in Parliament was reached during a meeting between the Speaker of the House, Devaraj Ghimire, and the Chief Whips of major political parties.
Opposition parties have insisted that the session cannot proceed unless Prime Minister Oli provides his response in the House.
