PM Oli directs ministers to work systematically & expedite key industrial projects
PM Oli urged them to advance projects strategically, focusing on how groundbreaking initiatives can be completed more swiftly and efficiently.
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has instructed ministers to commence work in a planned and organized manner, emphasizing that a casual or half-hearted approach will not yield desired results.
While signing performance agreements with ministers, PM Oli urged them to advance projects strategically, focusing on how groundbreaking initiatives can be completed more swiftly and efficiently.
He specifically directed the initiation of methane gas extraction and testing, aiming for completion of the pilot production by December.
PM Oli advised selecting the excavation company that can deliver results the fastest and awarding contracts accordingly. In addition, he instructed the formulation of detailed plans regarding the placement of storage tanks in Kathmandu to support the project’s operational needs.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of operationalizing industries that are ready to run and expediting the development of iron mines. He highlighted that these efforts are crucial for accelerating industrial growth and ensuring that strategic projects contribute effectively to national development.
