PM Karki’s husband Durga Prasad Subedi hospitalized
Hospital sources said his condition is serious and he is undergoing close medical supervision.
KATHMANDU: Durga Prasad Subedi, the husband of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, has been admitted to hospital after developing health complications.
Suvedi was hospitalized on Thursday at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.
Hospital sources said his condition is serious and he is undergoing close medical supervision.
According to doctors involved in his treatment, Subedi is suffering from a urinary tract infection, low sodium levels in the body (hyponatremia), and symptoms including dizziness.
However, the medical team has not disclosed further details about additional complications.
Subedi had previously undergone prostate surgery.
In recent days, his condition reportedly worsened due to infection, leading to increased dizziness and physical weakness, prompting his hospitalization.
He is currently being treated in a private cabin, and a team of specialist doctors is closely monitoring his health.
