Photo exhibition demanding cancellation of prohibition at Matighar (with photos)

KATHMANDU: A photo exhibition was held to call for the repeal of Maitighar Mandala’s restriction order.

On Tuesday, the photo exhibition was displayed in Maitighar by the Nepal Student Union’s Central Ad Hoc Committee.

The Nepal Student Union has shown images of historical movements in Mandala.

They have urged that the restriction be lifted immediately because the platform for expressing the government’s voice is similar to that of parliament.

Clauses (a) and (b) of Article 17 of the Constitution guaranteed the freedom of peaceful assembly without arms to every Nepali citizen, but the government disobeyed it, the students protested.
