Patan High Court judge Maraseni dies of cardiac arrest

KATHMANDU: Matrika Prasad Maraseni, a Patan High Court judge, died this morning of a heart attack.

He was rushed to the Nepal National Hospital in Kalanki for treatment after suffering a heart attack around 8:30 a.m.

Tirtharaj Bhattarai, the High Court of Patan’s spokesperson, confirmed that he died under treatment at 10 a.m.

According to him, Judge Maraseni’s daughter was in Pokhara, and the funeral will take place today at Pashupati Aryaghat in Kathmandu.
