Over 3,000 election personnel to be recruited in Sunsari

KATHMANDU: The District Police Office of Sunsari has announced that the recruitment process for election personnel for the upcoming House of Representatives election has begun.

A total of 3,578 election personnel will be recruited in Sunsari, including 3,149 from the Nepal Police and 429 from the Armed Police Force (APF), according to DSP Khadka.
He stated that the recruitment is being conducted in the district in accordance with the “Integrated Procedure for Selection, Appointment, and Deployment of Election Personnel (Nepal Police and Armed Police Force) – 2082,” which has been approved for the House of Representatives election.
Eligible candidates who have completed 18 years of age but have not yet reached 54 years can submit their applications at the District Police Office, Sunsari, or at the Armed Police Force Headquarters, No. 4, Inaruwa, from Friday, Poush 25 to Friday, Magh 1, DSP Khadka added.
Sunsari district has four electoral constituencies with a total of 580,945 registered voters.
According to Chief Election Officer Krishna Prasad Paudel of the District Election Office, Inaruwa, Sunsari, the district will have 167 polling sites and 624 polling centers for the election.
