One held with illegal drugs

KATHMANDU: On Saturday afternoon, police apprehended 26-year-old Arjun Subba, a resident of Birtamode Municipality-5, with 4 grams of illegal drug brown heroin from the old Mechi Bridge in Mechinagar Municipality-6, Jhapa.

A joint team from the District Police Office Kankarvitta and the Narcotics Control Bureau Kankarvitta apprehended him with the substance and arrested him on his way from India to Nepal.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
