Oli engages with voters in intensive Jhapa-5 campaign
Oli’s public engagement program begins at 9:30 a.m. at a local tea shop in Damak-9, where he will greet and converse informally with residents.
KATHMANDU: During the ongoing election campaign, CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli is actively visiting his constituency, Jhapa-5.
Today, he is set to meet and interact with voters in Damak and the southern Gaurigunj area.
Oli’s public engagement program begins at 9:30 a.m. at a local tea shop in Damak-9, where he will greet and converse informally with residents.
Following this, he will focus primarily on the Gauriganj region. According to Tulsi Karki, Oli will spend around seven hours in Gaurigunj, holding direct discussions with residents of 12 different neighborhoods from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During the campaign, Oli will visit voters’ homes in Shyama Tole, Harira, Upper Dinabhadri, Altabari, Durga Mandir, and New Bazaar. He will also engage with residents of Bahrashuddhi, Latijhula, Bhawanipur, and Hukkagachi.
Meetings are also scheduled with people from Baguwatelkani, Thekito, and Telkani areas under Gaurigunj-3.
