KATHMANDU: On the occasion of Global Money Week 2026, Nepal SBI Bank Ltd., organized various Financial Literacy Programs in 44 different locations across the country targeting Students and Youths from 16 th to 22 nd March under theme “Smart Money Talks”.

The initiative was aimed to educate school and college students across all provinces on various aspects of financial literacy, including importance of savings, understanding of loans and investments, digital banking, awareness on digital fraud and other fundamental banking and financial concepts.

These programs were conducted at various locations such as Itahari, Bhojpur, Biratnagar, Bargachhi, Birtamode, Ilam, Damak and Phidim of Koshi Province, Simara, Bardibas, Birgunj, Chandranigahapur, Rajgadh, Pidari Chowk and Janakpur of Madhesh Province, Patan, Dhading, Narayangarh and Hetauda of Bagmati Province, Dulegaunda, Pokhara, Abukhaireni, Besisahar, Damauli, Waling, Kawasoti, Birauta and Shishuwa of Gandaki Province Sunchhahari, Dang, Butwal, Bhairahawa, Sandhikharka, Lamahi and Rampur Bazaar of Lumbini Province, Surkhet and Chamunda of Karnali Province and Dhangadi, Ganyapdhura, Dadeldhura, Mahendranagar, Shivanath, Attariya and Tikapur of Sudurpaschim Province reaching out to more than 3000 students and youths.

The Bank has been rendering its banking services since last 32 years.

Currently, the bank has been operating through its 102 Branches, 22 Extension Counters, 7 Province Offices, 21 Branchless Banking, 127 ATMs and a Corporate Office.
