NICCI holds 12th AGM, selects new executive committee

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NICCI) successfully conducted its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Jan 11, 2026, in Kathmandu.
The AGM was held in the presence of Hon. Patron Mr. Rajesh Kaji Shrestha, who attended the event as the Chief Guest.
The meeting reviewed the Chamber’s activities, progress, and financial matters, and reaffirmed NICCI’s commitment to strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and business relations between Nepal and Italy.
The Chamber is led by Mr. Sanjay Agrawal as President, heading the new Executive Committee. Mr. Rupak Rajbanshi as Senior Vice President. Mr. Manoj Kumar Gyawali and Mr. Araniko Raj Bhandary serve as Vice Presidents, supported by Mr. Manoj Shrestha Bhadel (General Secretary), Mr. Rome Nath Ghimire and Mr. Viinod Sagtani (Secretaries), and Mr. Pawan Kumar Agarwal (Treasurer).
The new Executive committee Board Members of NICCI include Ms. Basumaya Tamang, Ms. Bina Pyakurel Shrestha, Mr. Bhuwaneshwor Phaiju, Mr. Birendra Shahi, Mr. Kishan Sunar, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Agrawal, Mr. Sumeet Kumar Bansal, Mr. Sushil Kumar Jain, Mr. Yugesh Bhakta Bade Shrestha, Ms. Sunita Singh, Mr. Sangharsha Bista, Mr. Gambhir Man Shrestha, Mr. Yogendra Bikram Thapa, Mr. Damber Parajuli, and Mr. Kalyan Silwal.
The AGM concluded successfully with active participation from members, marking another step forward in NICCI’s ongoing efforts to promote Nepal–Italy economic cooperation.
