NICA Asia Bank celebrates Global Money Week 2026, benefits over 4,000 students & youth

KATHMANDU: NICA Asia Bank actively engaged thousands of students and youth across Nepal in a week-long series of programs aimed at enhancing financial literacy and public awareness on the occasion of Global Money Week 2026.

Under the national coordination of Nepal Rastra Bank, the bank’s branches across all seven provinces organized local-level campaigns in schools and colleges.

These initiatives focused on developing participants’ financial knowledge, skills, and mindset, fostering responsible financial behavior among the younger generation.

Over the course of the week, more than 67 programs reached over 4,100 students and youth nationwide.

In addition, the bank produced and shared educational materials through its social media channels to further broaden the impact of financial literacy and awareness initiatives.

Following guidelines issued by Nepal Rastra Bank, NICA Asia Bank believes that its diverse programs and educational resources have significantly contributed to strengthening financial knowledge, skills, and awareness among children, students, and youth across the country.
